Wanted: A New Pretty Home Office Space

I love to watch Candace Olson on Divine Design on HGTV.  She has my kind of taste and I almost always love her redos.  She did one last week for a writer and gave her one gorgeous home office space.  It was breathtaking to say the least.  So yes, I started coveting.  Dreaming.  Wishing of my own pretty, feminine space with pinks and blues, and flowers and frilly things....sigh.

This is the picture too that started all of my dreaming of a new office space that I could call my own!

This office is from Censational Girl -- oh, I love, love, love!

Let me say  that we actually have 2, not one, but TWO offices in this house.  One downstairs is where I claim "mine" but it is for our coaching and is very "professional" looking.
Other than the white walls, I really do like it here in this space.

This is where you will usually find me sitting.

Notice the M&M dispenser on the window ledge?  So do the grandbabies every time they are here!

 Some inspiration on the walls.

Then the one upstairs is a grand 750 or so square feet office suite, that belongs to my man.
(He's so spoiled!)  It is a wonderful space to get away from everything...and yet, he loves to come downstairs and sit in "my" office.
*mmmmm, I think somethings wrong with this?  Ha.

(I told him today that his place upstairs looks like a "bachelor pad"...it's usually not this messy, but he's had a lot going on lately.  I do have to admit too that the grandbabies love to go up there and play.  It's wide open space for them to throw their little wiffle balls and ride the tricycle, and run!)

With all this, yes, I still would like a pretty, fun, romantic, eclectic, punches of pink, blue, gray, metallics--yes, the whole rainbow if I could.   I would love to add some of these elements into it:

I love the white feminine desk and chair.

Punches of pinks and florals. Yes.

The bulletin board is a must.

Another white desk option.

Bookshelves...ahh.  And a sitting area would be grand.  Someplace to sit, relax and think!

What was that I said the other day about being content with what I have?  *sigh*

Blessings,

Sorry, gotta learn to be content.

And I must be content to have a teeny corner of my bedroom where my computer sits!

I spent the day yesterday cleaning up my office, and I totally can use some inspiration for decorating it. I almost don't like being in here. Your's is nice! What do you do that your husband needs all that space!?

Thanks all. Instead of sending the same email out...I will respond to the question: "What do we do?"
We do financial coaching. Wanna see us in action? *choke* Go to our website and check out the video we did. Now, we aren't near as flamboyant and talented as YOU...but for old folks, hey, we gave it a first pass. www.larkincoaching.com

We do workshops and private coaching. The space Mike has is big, and not always needed, but we kept it open. I could move my office space up there too, but we find we need to have one downstairs in case people can't climb stairs (which we've had in the past).

I know I don't NEED a new space...but man, I'd love to make it "mine" and personalize it. This one here I have to keep clean and professional looking...not pink and fun. Ya know?

Hi! I found you through ASPTL.. You "stuck out" because your name is spelled like mine and so I thought I'd check out your post. Not only is our name spelled the same, but we may have the same favorite scripture! I love Isaiah 43:1... I am redeemed and He knows my name! That thrills me... and I see it thrills you, too! I enjoyed your blog and will be back!
